My Ryan is fully healed. What an incredible mystery, the working of our Great physician. My gorgeous husband is fully back to normal. We visited the doctor's office earlier this month, and received a clean bill of health. Ryan is able to run, workout, play basketball, golf, tennis, anything else one might imagine.
Little Ryan is back in school, still accepting his new kidney, and getting to slowly experience being a normal 11-year-old again.
All of this is happening right around the time that I am following the Larsen's blog. Little Life, whose life was threatened unbelievably, is home and in her loving parents' arms, even off oxygen. My parents and 15+ other people from Watermark just returned home safely from their 2nd trip to Africa with A.L.A.R.M. One thing I was thinking about this past Sunday...God is infinitely good. But the interesting fact - it has a big zero to do with how our circumstances turn out. Life could have died, Ryan's kidneys could have failed, and my parents could have never made it back home. God is still good. His goodness has nothing to do with how I preceive my current circumstances. Talk about grasping the incredible. I so need to reshape my thinking - I can be faithful in the big things - it's the little things in life I need to let go of.
"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." - Ephesians 3:20-21
